‘I feel protected’: Catholic tattoos in the Philippines – in pictures

Ajay Zambrano, 34, from Manila, is a computer engineer.‘Many view people with lots of tattoos with suspicion, but when I show them my religious tattoos, most of them like it and respect it,’ says Ajay. ‘I started tattooing when I was 28. My last one is from a couple of months ago.
