‘There’s a car park with loads of puddles bedside a quay in north Norfolk. If you look east at dawn, you get sunrise with the wooden structures silhouettes in front on the morning sky. If you get down low you get fantastic reflections as well.’

‘Greenbottle fly on echinacea. There has been an abundance of insects in the garden this year, including this greenbottle fly. The outer petals on this echinacea flower had died off leaving just the disc florets, making for a really vivid backdrop.’

‘Toucans don’t just eat sugared cereal – they are omnivorous, and use those large bills on small prey. This toucan ransacked a kingbird nest, probably eating some chicks, and the parents responded. I managed to wheel and capture the chase as it happened.’
