Denmark has been named the least corrupt country in the world for the past six years, but this astonishing documentary series by film-maker Mads Brügger shows a darker side to the nation. Secret cameras film the lawyer Amira Smajic, a once trusted adviser to notorious gangs, and her undercover meetings with criminal clients – starting with a double bill that follows cases including dumping illegal toxic waste and managing bankruptcy without scrutiny. We’re used to praising life-saving work in this brilliant fly-on-the-wall paramedic series. But the first case this week shows the extraordinary job paramedics do, even when the patient doesn’t survive. Nick arrives at a family home where a 78-year-old man has stopped breathing, and asks his shocked wife to say her goodbyes. HR

Greg Davies referees a typically raucous episode of the rock’n’roll quiz, the last in the current run. Girls Aloud trouper Nadine Coyle and jacked rocker Tom Grennan compete to drop the most F-bombs while Strictly champion Chris McCausland gamely goes along with an impromptu edition of Blind Date. British-Nigerian visual artist Yinka Shonibare – who put Nelson’s ship in a bottle in Trafalgar Square in 2010 – proves to be a wry, candid and deeply thoughtful chronicler of his own life. It is particularly affecting to hear how the impact of the spinal virus he contracted as a student in London shaped his outlook and creativity over the past 45 years. GV
