Emma Barnett: Fighting Endometriosis

9pm, BBC Two
“It’s like having a drill inside my stomach that is going down into my organs.” Broadcaster Emma Barnett lives with this extremely painful lifelong disease that affects one in 10 women – but about which medical experts still don’t know enough, largely because of the gender health gap. In this vital documentary, she is candid about her own story and hears from other women with the condition, as they demand more help. Hollie Richardson

Natalie Cassidy: Caring Together

2pm, BBC One
Natalie Cassidy was a carer for her father in the final years of his life. Now, after waving goodbye to 30 years of acting on EastEnders, Natalie is returning to college to train to be a carer. This new series has been following her touching journey, and this week’s training starts with the St John Ambulance first aid course. HR

Canal Boat Diaries

7pm, U&Yesterday
Robbie Cumming first started making canal videos “many, many years ago” in Runcorn, Cheshire, and now he’s back there for the midway part of his lovely narrowboat journey. He sets off to Middlewich via Preston Brook Tunnel – but a “mishap” delays his journey. HR

8pm, BBC Two
The gloriously verdant Crom estate in Northern Ireland and lush Knepp estate in West Sussex are the settings for this welcome return of everyone’s favourite televisual balm. Expect Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan, plus nature’s joy and wonder contained within each reed bed and lurking behind every bushy leaf. Priya Elan

Euphoria

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Online theorists suggest that Sam Levinson will burn it all to the ground – offing the entire cast in this final (ever?) episode. It certainly would fit with the vibe of a challenging season, which echoed the sadism he inflicted on his characters in The Idol. Will there be justice for Jules? PE

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

9pm, Sky Witness
A young woman found dazed and confused in New York’s Times Square leads the SVU crew to a members-only “wellness club” that looks suspiciously like the front for a sex ring. Hard-charging new recruit Griffin is tasked with going undercover to find out. Can he keep his cool when things get heated? Graeme Virtue

Matt Vesely’s indie sci-fi horror demonstrates how a good idea can outweigh a small effects budget. It’s shot entirely in one house with only one actor on screen, Lily Sullivan, who plays a sacked journalist reduced to doing a podcast about uncanny events. She comes upon the tale of a black brick that contains mysterious symbols and is linked to disturbing visions – and the more research she does, the weirder things become. So is it evidence of aliens or a metaphor for buried trauma? Simon Wardell
