Return to Paradise
8pm, BBC One
For the staff of a dating app, a spiritual away day is even more unpleasant than usual: the boss ends up dead, despite having drunk the same hallucinogenic tea as everyone else. Mack (Anna Samson) has to unravel the team’s own love lives to solve an apparently impossible crime. Jack Seale
All Her Fault
9pm, Sky Atlantic
The fraught kidnap drama switches focus from panicking mum Marissa (Sarah Snook) to the Chicago cop leading the hunt for her five-year-old. Greatest Basslines
9pm, Sky Arts

This thumping new three-part series explores three very different takes on the low end. Joy Division and New Order founder member Peter Hook is the first to recall the basslines that defined their music, with Foo Fighters’ Nate Mendel and Melissa Auf der Maur of Hole and the Smashing Pumpkins in future episodes. Daddy Issues
9.35pm, BBC One
More from the second season of this charming sitcom starring Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey as a warmly shambolic daughter-father parenting team. This time, Gemma longs to escape into her “weapons-grade pulling dress” for a night out. Can Malcolm take care of baby Sadie in the meantime? The answer is less clearcut than you’d hope. Phil Harrison
The Graham Norton Show
10.40pm, BBC One
After her (thankfully small) part in zero star-rated All’s Fair – labelled one of the worst shows in TV history – Glenn Close is now in the third Knives Out film, which can only be much, much better. She visits the red sofa, alongside Alexander Skarsgård, Miriam Margolyes and Nicola Coughlan. HR

Left-Handed Girl (Shih-Ching Tsou, 2025), Netflix
Shih-Ching Tsou is a regular collaborator with Sean Baker, the Oscar-winning director of Anora. He returns the compliment here by co-writing and editing her vibrant debut solo feature, where his interest in the least privileged members of society mingles fruitfully with her intimate focus on her Taiwanese homeland. Janel Tsai plays Shu-Fen, single mother to left-handed five-year-old I-Jing (a delightful Nina Ye) and stroppy young adult I-Ann (Shih-Yuan Ma). They arrive in Taipei to open a noodle stall, but financial and relationship stresses threaten to unravel the family. An unforced, perceptive and utterly beguiling drama. Simon Wardell
