Industry

10.40pm, BBC One
Gird your loins: the stakes get even higher, and hornier, in TV’s most anxiety-inducing finance drama. Harper (Myha’la) is heading up her own fund while Yasmin (Marisa Abela) is cosying up to MPs, with her new hubby, Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), noticeably absent. The shenanigans are bolstered by impressive new cast members Max Minghella, Kiernan Shipka and Charlie Heaton. Hollie Richardson

Jamie’s Feasts for a Fiver

8pm, Channel 4
Budget needn’t mean basic. That’s the motto of this new cooking series, in which the TV chef Jamie Oliver rustles up some elaborate feasts fit for entertaining guests, but at January-friendly prices. This week, there’s an inventive brunch dish featuring French toast crumpets and smashed minty peas standing in for avocado. Ellen E Jones

Lynley

8.30pm, BBC One
The return of the detective drama that takes great delight in foregrounding the class differences between its twin leads Tommy (posh) and Barbara (not so much). This time, a missing persons case that initially seems a little simple for our high-powered duo turns into a sinister tale involving dark secrets and dating apps. Phil Harrison

Lucy Worsley’s Victorian Murder Club

9pm, BBC Two
The historian continues her fascinating hunt for the Victorian serial killer responsible for the “Thames torso murders”. As she examines the case of the fourth victim, Worsley learns that the woman’s body was found in Jack the Ripper’s territory. This leads to the name of a potential perpetrator and his motive. HR

Walter Presents: The Ring

12.05am, Channel 4
A Dutch thriller that places itself nicely between credible human drama and potboiling thriller. On a day when lawyer Anna (Hannah Hoekstra) gives in to her impulses, her decision to steal from a client lands her in a whirl of blackmail and lies. There’s an unfussy briskness about this story that could easily have been implausible tosh. Jack Seale
